First book, a semi-autobiography titled The Proclamation was published in 1992; second book, a children’s title called Stories from Ancient Africa, was self-published in 1995l; third book, Book I of the Psychic Detective: DEATH WILL PAY THE DEBT was published in 1998 by Poole & Smith Publishing, and re-issued as a self-published title in 1999; fourth book, titled: Book II of the Psychic Detective: SINS OF THE PARENTS, was published by Booklocker.com in 2004; fifth book, soon-to-be-released, titled 'Book III of the Psychic Detective: STRANGE FLESH; and, in April 2007, the Richmond Times Dispatch newspaper [Editorial] named G. T. Edwards Correspondent of the Day. Currently working on first screenplay based on her sister's murder in 2008.
Organization memberships: Readers' Advisory Board Member for Simon & Schuster; member of Amnesty International, USA; Black Writers United; the National Campaign for Tolerance; the National Prison Project; the Southern Poverty Law Center; and, Virginia C.U.R.E.
